Scenic Neihu

It’s Sunday morning. Danny, Anna and their grandfather are standing at the square of Pi-shan Yan .

Anna  Wow! What a beautiful view it is!

Danny It really is, but it’s so tiring to climb the mountain.

Grandpa Danny, you’re right. But, “no pains, no gains.” Take a deep breath. The air is so fresh, isn’t it? Whenever I come here and have a look at the scenery, I always feel relaxed.

Anna  Look! Isn’t that “Ta-hu Park”?

Grandpa Yes, it is. The mountain in back of the lake is called “Pai-lu Mountain.” And the mountain here is called “Chung-yung Mountain.” I often go hiking with your grandma in these mountains.

Danny How about the smaller lake over there?

Grandpa That’s “Pi-hu Lake.” And there’s a new sidewalk around the lake. Many people go fishing or jogging there.

Danny What’s that river called?

Anna  Come on! It’s “Keelung River.” Don’t you know?

GrandpaThe Riverside Park is along the river. On holidays, many people go bicycle-riding or play Frisbee.

Danny Wow, I don’t know Neihu has so many wonderful scenes.

GrandpaYes, that’s why we call Neihu Taipei’s Back Garden
